Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, ApnaMap has established a Grievance Redressal Mechanism for users, vendors, and any affected parties.

Response & Resolution Timeline
Acknowledgement — Within 72 hours
We will acknowledge your grievance within 72 hours of receipt.
Investigation — Within 7 days
Our team will investigate the complaint and contact relevant parties (vendor, payment provider, etc.).
Resolution — Within 15 days
We will provide a final resolution or escalation path within 15 days of the original complaint.
These timelines are as mandated by the IT Rules, 2021 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Types of Complaints We Handle
- Order not delivered / significantly delayed
- Wrong or damaged product received
- Refund not processed within stated timeline
- Fraudulent or misleading vendor listing
- Unauthorised or incorrect payment charge
- Privacy or data protection concerns
- Abusive or inappropriate content on the platform
- Account suspension / access issues
- Any other violation of ApnaMap's policies
How to File a Grievance
- Email your complaint to founder@apnamap.com with the subject line: Grievance — [Your Name] — [Order ID if applicable]
- Include the following:
- Your registered mobile number or email
- Order ID (if order-related)
- Nature of grievance (clear description)
- Supporting evidence (screenshots, photos, etc.)
- What resolution you are seeking
- Await acknowledgement — you will receive a response within 72 hours.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by ApnaMap, you may escalate your complaint to:
- National Consumer Helpline — Call 1800-11-4000 (toll-free) or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in
- Consumer Forum — District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Prayagraj.
- IT Grievance (Content) — Ministry of Electronics & IT grievance portal at grievance.gov.in
